Secret Life of Pets won't Complete

All - I bought two brand new copies of the 4K Secret Life of Pets.... both discs cannot ever complete. They always fail at some random different point every time. Is there some sort of unqiue lock on this disc that causes it to fail in the middle of the rip every time? I've tried probably 40-50 times.

If it were a "global issue" (all disks having the same issue) it would generally happen in the same spot on all copies.

That not being the case, I'd suspect the disks individually having issues. Although, some players have trouble with the transition area where the "next layer" start. MakeMKV generally slows down as it approaches this area, to fight this problem.

Clean the discs!

I appreciate the thoughts, everyone! I have ripped probably about 150 movies so far, and this is the only disc that has ever caused me issues. I have purchased it two separate times through Amazon, and both brand new disks have issues ripping. 40 to 50 attempts across the two discs, and they both fail in the middle at random points. It’s really bizarre. I have quite a lot of experience at this point, and embaffled. I have used microfiber clothes incessantly, holding it in the light to get every bit of dust!
