Congratulations on makemkv, I've been using it for a while and it's a very simple but effective and powerful app.
What has been happening recently (I am converting a catalogue of iso rips), is that makemkv is attempting to read and open an iso before I have hit the go button (note I don't mean the "makemkv" button). This is accompanied by windows explorer crashing/freezing up. I then have to reboot.
My protocol is
1. Have both windows explorer ang makemkv open
2. Eject the previous iso using makemkv eject button
3. Mount next iso
4. While mounting click on makemkv window
5. Hit the read/open disc button on makemkv
6. "makemkv"
Using w7 x64
I noticed the problem was worse if I opened the makemkv app after mounting the iso, or if I did not eject the iso before mounting the next one.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Z

Re: Windows explorer crashes
Do you have the (god awful) DivX software installed. It'll crash explorer when trying to create thumbnails with alarming regularity.

Hi!
Instead of MOUNTING the .ISO image file, try using MakeMKV to simply LOAD it...
