Dumb The Amazing Spider-Man 2

[chochb]

Hi,

MakeMKV cannot open this disc: "3303 The volume key for this DVD/Blu-ray is unknown - video cannot be decrypted; 5010 Failed to open disc".

- Disc: The Amazing Spider-Man 2 (2014), Blu-ray, MKB version 76
- MakeMKV: v2.0.0 linux(x64-release), jlesage/makemkv Docker image on Unraid
- Drive: HL-DT-ST BD-RE WH16NS60, firmware 1.02
- AACS dump was sent to svq@makemkv.com on 2026-10-01
- Same result on repeated attempts

Is a key for this disc / MKB v76 expected to be added? Debug log attached.

Is your system able to successfully download hashed keys?

Yes. The data dir persists between runs, and _private_data.tar (≈20 MB, contains hkd_*.bin) was refreshed on 2026-10-14. Network access to makemkv.com works (v2.0.0). Still 3303 on MKB v76, so the disc’s key seems to be missing from the hashed keys. Dump sent 2026-10-01 (MKB20_v76_The_Amazing_Spider-Man_2_61DB.tgz).
