movie not finishing

I was trying to rip true grit and the movie stops at 87% done each time, any ideas why? I'm on win7 and using makemkv v1.7.4, it has always worked before and i didn't change any settings on it so I'm not sure what the problem is.

What errors (if any) are displayed?

At the very least, you need to turn on debugging while doing the rip. Follow the Troubleshooting FAQ at http://www.makemkv.com/faq/item/8/catid/6 for how to do it, and what to submit.

For what it is worth, I was able to rip "a" DVD version of True Grit a few months ago, but there are several different ones out there.
