Thanks for the submissions r3vuluti0n, but this disc dump was the only one which could be added to the public keydb. The others seem to have been created from folders instead of the physical disc and disc dumps created like this do not contain the required data for key generation.

If you still have access to the physical discs, please initiate a protected backup for each disc. You can cancel the backup once the discatt.dat/discattd.dat file has been created. If you can then pass along those new discatt files the remaining AACS 2.0 discs can be added to the public keydb.

The required details for this disc are already known, so don't stress about generating a new discatt file for Zombieland. The public keydb doesn't currently support AACS 2.1.

I'm encountering an issue where MakeMKV can read my UHD, but the disc is not in the keydb.cfg file. Therefore, there is no MakeMKV disc dump. However, I would like the keys to be added to keydb.cfg. Usually, I use KeyDB Assistant Synchronize-->Disc Info, and it finds the keys and updates the keydb.cfg file. However, this process is not working for my disc. Are you able to help if I don't have a disc dump file?

Hey Barley, you can generate a 'synthetic disc dump' by following the process I outlined in the latter part of this post: Link

As I mentioned to r3vuluti0n, please make sure you use the physical disc as a source for this process.

Thank you so much for creating and maintaining this post! KeyDB really helped me out on getting access to some of my UHD discs since I recently started backing up my BluRay collection.

Is there a way to tell if a disk has AACS 2.1?

As Marty noted there were only a small number of titles which utilised AACS 2.1 and the disc dump file name will indicate the AACS version. I think it has also been at least 5-6 years since the last AACS 2.1 disc was released.
