mattjackson86 mine was a 1.10 too, and i never went down the 211M route... just flashed it to the S11 firmware and it's been ripping UHD discs fine for about a year (bar a couple of proper scratched ones). took me three goes to get the flash to take tho, it only worked once i swapped to a different sata cable and port, which i definately wouldnt have guessed. i reckon ill try 211M on the spare one in the garage at some point

fair enough mate, but i'm not sure "have fun" is quite how i'd put it... after three goes at the S11 flash i'm a bit wary of fiddling more than i need to (it's working fine, so why poke it). i'll probably try 211M on the spare one first, and cheers for the discord offer, might shout if it goes wrong.
