SDFtool Flasher

I have tried several time but alas the flasher tool does not recognize the appropriate UHD drive. What is interesting is the MakeMKV application recognizes the drive and Windows Device Manager as well but some reason the SDFlasher tool (version 1.3.6) does not. I tried version 1.3.5 as well but still with no success.

At first I thought the problem may reside in the fact I am using Windows 11 on my Mac Mini via Parallels (and yes I am using an esata/usb connection directly connected to the Mac Mini) but when I tried using my son's Laptop PC (fully updated as of 9.23.2026 Windows 11 OS) the issues remained unchanged. I have attached various applicable screenshots that I hope will provide more insight into the matter. In any event, any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated (and please let me know what additional information is needed).

sorry I had added a screen shot when I made the post but it didn't upload it's a Microsoft.net error that pops up when I open the SDFtool flasher.exe that says" Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click continue the appllcation will ignore this error and attempt to continue.If you click quit, the application will close immediately.

An error occurred trying to start process 'C:\Program Files (x86)\MakeMKV\sdftool64.exe' with working directory 'C:\Program Files (x86)\MakeMKV' the system cannot find the file specified.

The storage available on the forum for posting photos & files is very limited and it is usually full and doesn't work, as it didn't for you.

Your best bet is to put a photo somewhere on the internet (https://imgur.com works well for example) and post a link here.

Which version of SDFtool Flasher are you using? The latter versions should all include .NET runtimes so that you don't have to install it yourself.
Also, ensure you have MakeMKV installed in the default location ('C:\Program Files (x86)\MakeMKV)
