however when I click the link it says "The selected attachment does not exist anymore." and in the all you need firmware pack it only has BP60NB10-1.02. Has it been moved somewhere and I am just missing it? Thanks
Follow the boot code recovery section for nb52
When following that guide do I still need to include the -f path/to/sdf.bin from the other Mac commands or is that not needed with the boot code recovery method? It wasn’t in the windows commands but just wanted to make sure it wasn’t a platform difference as I was translating the commands.

Also thanks to both of you! :)
that may be needed on mac

If anyone can point me to a good driver to buy, let me know. My main requirement is that it's external and has a USB connector.

I just bought an Asus BC‑12D2HT "New" from Taiwan. It works great on Linux with BR and DVD, but not UHD. In Windows it has the same results, no UHD support. I read this guide but I am unsure on what flashing to do to get UHD support.

Revision: 1.0
Drive Platform: MT 1939
Firmware Version: 1.0

Advice?

Drives with the MT1939 platform will never be able to read UHD discs.

That aint' new!! The MT1939 drive platform was prior to 2015 so it is 11+ years old. The advice is to return it!!
Cheers :D
