Thanks for the submission allenpeak but your disc was added to the public keydb on May 19.

Your log indicates a transient failure occurred whilst MakeMKV was trying to activate LibreDrive. Power down your drive completely, reboot your PC, make sure the keydb is in the correct location and you should be good to go.

Thanks for the very comprehensive submission el_vandragon but don't stress too much about the timestamp. It is an honour system after all and I don't want folks to effectively reveal their time zone when posting here.

I have a question i don't seem to find the solution for.

I have added two discs with FindVUK (with dvdfab), and they are present in my keydb.cfg in .MakeMKV-folder for my user.
The last one I added today was 0x75954CFCBC4EFB24CA8721C67FAC8ABEEFF2F289
But MakeMKV can't seem to find the key and use it, so get that the volume key is unknown. (yes, i have restarted MakeMKV)

My ISP have blocked MakeMKVs "key server", so I'm only using keydb.
For reference I'm in the middle of ripping Stranger Things, so MakeMKV utilizes(?) they keydb file.

When running Validate through keydb_helper it checks out, and verifies that the correct key is in the file: KEYDB: Identical entry already present in keydb-file

Which disks are you having issues with for Stranger Things? There were a couple (Season 2 Disc 2, Season 4 Disc 3, Season 5 Disc 2) that were not encrypted so you need to backup the disk and then delete the aacs folder before throwing it back into MakeMKV to process. See here for more.

MakeMKV only uses the VUK from the keydb.cfg, which is not what you find with FindVUK for UHD's....only the unit keys. That is why it doesn't work for MakeMKV.

Aha. So I just have to continue supply dumps here, nothing available for us "end users" to help out with the VUK?
