Much appreciated. When doing the crossflash, does that retain the burning capabilities (up to BDXL 100gb discs) or does it becoming a read only drive? Thanks again!

Hello everyone,

First of all, thank you for all your hard work—it is greatly appreciated.

I own this drive, and since it is an older-generation model, I was not expecting it to support LibreDrive. However, I noticed that some users have successfully enabled LibreDrive on similar models, so I would like to share my drive information below and ask whether LibreDrive support is possible for this device.

OS device name: H:
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-S09

Hello, could you please help me?
I have a Pioneer optical drive – specifically, the optical drive used in the Sharp Blu-ray recorder – which was custom-made by Sharp for Pioneer.
Drive Information
Operating System Device Name: K:
Manufacturer: PIONEER
Product: BD-RW BDR-L13SH
Revised Version: 1.18
Firmware date: 2021-01-22

LibreDrive Information
Status: Feasible, but not yet enabled
Drive Platform: Pioneer RS8C00
Firmware Version: ID92

Not inserted

When playing discs with high bitrates, the playback speed is limited to approximately 2X.

The two attachments to this email include "private_data.tar" is used to manually download an SDF.bin file.Run Makemkv after Bin is launched; it will create its own executable file. The power-off and reboot operations have all been performed. Request assistance to enable LibreDrive status.

thanks very much!
