Hi everyone,
I'm having trouble decrypting four discs from my Stranger Things 4K UHD box sets (MKB v82). MakeMKV currently throws a KEY NOT PRESENT / KEY EXCHANGE FAILURE error for these specific discs.
I have attached the . tgz dump files to this post:
• Season 2 - Disc 2
• Season 4 - Disc 3
• Season 4 - Disc 5
• Season 5 - Disc 2
My drive is an LG BU4ON with LibreDrive firmware.
Could someone please process these dumps and add the hashed keys to the database?

This disc is in the public keydb. You have encountered a MakeMKV bug related to the processing of unencrypted discs.

I see, are there any workarounds or just wait for a MakeMKV update?

Hey thedimebandit, welcome to the forum and thanks for following the submission template. Your disc has been added to the public keydb along with the 06B6 variant of Backrooms.

With regards to the Stranger Things discs, please search the forum for the workaround. I've posted it multiple times to this thread and I'm not going to keep posting it every few days.

AFAIK those discs have an authoring quirk where they have AACS data but the disc itself isn't actually encrypted. Follow the steps in this post and you should be able to rip them to MKVs: viewtopic.php?p=202415#p202415
