1.18.4 (oss, Linux version) : https://mega.nz/file/WnJiiYqJ#mi1FiYGAQ ... IFngdwYEiM

1.18.4 (bin, Linux version) : https://mega.nz/file/TqIRHaia#X0GGZXUuH ... CesUIlrC_4

1.17.6 (bin, Linux version, mostly for firmware-flashing purposes since 1.18.4 still has a broken firmware tool on Linux) : https://mega.nz/file/36gRyYoC#zPKefdvh3 ... Nneg4I4H3Q

I see no reason to post the download link to 1.17.6-oss since 1.17.6-bin is compatible with 1.18.4-oss.

Note that all of this is temporary, as I will be removing the download links as soon as the website is back online, unless I have a major life event that prevents me from doing so. Please start using the official download links again as soon as the website issue is solved.

EDIT : The sdf.bin link since many people seem to want it : https://mega.nz/file/Omxl2SBb#tpi4fY2QY ... qoi9bw7NsY

EDIT 2 : The MK firmware pack : https://mega.nz/file/Kmx1kbzD#S124C6jw3 ... Pa9SPVqg9Y

thanks so much for posting this!

So I'm trying to build v1.17.6 on my Steam Deck. (keep getting the stuck on "Scanning CD-ROM devices" issue with v1.18.4)

I know you mentioned 1.17.6-bin is compatible with 1.18.4-oss, but I've been unable to build v1.17.6 with the 1.18.4-oss - perhaps it's a Steam Deck issue.

If you somehow have it, could you please share the v1.17.6-oss file?

Added MK firmware pack download link. Thanks to goestoeleven for pointing out that this firmware pack is normally hosted on the main website, and was therefore inaccessible with normal means.

I have it, however I believe the Steam Deck uses Arch Linux as a base, and you will likely be unable to build both 1.17.6-oss and 1.18.4-oss on the latest version of Arch-based distros, due to an incompatibility with ffmpeg version 9. However, echo_x posted a patch (which I haven't fully tested but it did allow me to compile and launch MakeMKV) in this topic :

viewtopic.php?t=42238

See my instructions at the end on how to use it, and you can just ignore the "distrobox" part, the main instructions should be the same for most if not all Arch-based distros.

EDIT : Also in your case, you would have to "mentally replace" 1.18.4-bin with 1.17.6-bin when reading, since that's the version you want. :)

If you still *really* want 1.17.6-oss for a reason that's beyond me, just ask again and I will post the download link to it. But since it's unlikely your problem comes from having a "wrong" version of oss (as I said it's very likely due to that ffmpeg incompatibility), I believe there would be no point.
