Since I can't download MakeMKV for Linux through their website, I had to download the bin & oss files off of the Internet Archive here & here.
I tried installing it & while I could install the bin files (Using make.), I couldn't install the oss files.
How do I properly install it?

Probably the same problem as seen in viewtopic.php?t=42238
TL;DR patch it yourself or wait until there's an update (hopefully there will still be one...)

Hi. I use EndeavourOS too. I had to install MakeMKV via Flatpak because the AUR package no longer works with ffmpeg 9.0. The Flatpak package works perfectly; I didn't even have to re-enter my license key. Just remember to grant the necessary permissions so it can detect your optical drive—you can do this via the terminal or using Flatseal.Route66Fan wrote: Wed Aug 12, 2026 1:59 pm Since I can't download MakeMKV for Linux through their website, I had to download the bin & oss files off of the Internet Archive here & here.

And now there are more detailed instructions for using the patch inside that topic, too (for those who are not used to running Python scripts).tomty89 wrote: Wed Aug 12, 2026 9:17 pm Probably the same problem as seen in viewtopic.php?t=42238
