I think you got lucky. I just purchased 2 of these from Amazon and both needed to be flashed. Work fine after flashing 1.03MK - 6X UHD ripping speed

I picked one up about a week ago with the exact same information BW41 ripped UHD right out the box. Time stamp on the firmware date is exactly the same too 2116-12-22 09:20 Libredrive enabled original (unpatched). Date on sticker was July 2017
