Failed to process BD+ code using generic SVQ from builtin/00000.svq
DEBUG: Code 0 at ^Xr61`m@.|:4nHkrwe:121265706
Saved BD+ dump file as C:\Users\3D/.MakeMKV/dump_The_Darkest_Hour_0A36CC75B898BD83.tgz
Failed to process BD+ code, please check http://www.makemkv.com/svq/ for updated program and SVQ files

You have a different version of the movie. The only way to let us know about it is to send the dump file C:\Users\3D/.MakeMKV/dump_The_Darkest_Hour_0A36CC75B898BD83.tgz to svq@makemkv.com

Hi Mike
I'm also having problems with "The Darkest Hour"
My first problem is i don't know where to put the downloaded SVQ file. Sorry but i ain't no fundy when it comes to computers. I placed it in Computer > Local Disc (C) > Program Files (x86) > MakeMKV. I don't see know "MakeMKV data directory" and when i go into preferences the only thing i see in Protection is Auto, CellWalk and CellTrim. Am I missing something here?

The second thing is for some unknown reason my mail box won't open when i click on svq@makemkv.com so i don't know how to send a dump file. Could you place the method here sothat i can create the dump file.

Regards,
Alan

Hi!
I am a bit desperate as i borrowed the disc for a day and I'm hoping you'll be able to sort it out before i have to return it.
Discussion of media that you haven't purchased is not appreciated at the MakeMKV forum...

@perfectionist

I implied nothing.

You stated that you borrowed the disc and have to return it - which means you didn't purchase it and, therefore, you didn't purchase it and don't own it.

This forum ( and many others) avoid discussions regarding non-owned media because, among other things, they don't want to be threatened with lawsuits...

@perfectionist

Your posts are perplexing, to say the least. I've implied nothing and I've assumed nothing.

You seem to be angry about the fact that I've quoted you:
I am a bit desperate as i borrowed the disc for a day and I'm hoping you'll be able to sort it out before i have to return it
and
In this instance my mate had already bought the disc and said i could use it as long as i gave it back to him the following day
Both quotes clearly indicate that you neither purchased nor own the commercial Blu-ray disc - and as I simply stated before,
this forum ( and many others) avoid discussions regarding non-owned media because, among other things, they don't want to be threatened with lawsuits.
(What happened to the folks at "Digital Digest" is a perfect example) Certainly, nothing in my statement could possibly construed as "jumping down your throat" or "jumping to conclusions" since, once again, I simply quoted what you stated.

And in answer to your question, NO, I don't borrow other people's disc for viewing or any other purpose.

setarip_old its **** heads like you that cause problems for forums like this because you have to carry on and on when all you had to do was send me a pm and we could have discussed it in private there. But know, you want to make yourself known and put post after post in blue print too. You really are an unwise person and i wish i could say the things i want to say. I would prefer if you would re-frame from putting any posts that are guided towards my posts thank you very much.

The following is a link to a post from "mike admin" - the OWNER of this forum (and author of MakeMKV):

(When you click on the link, Mike's post should be at the very top of the page)

I sincerely hope that, once you've read Mike's post, you'll understand that no one is trying to upset or offend you - just pointing out one of the very few stated restrictions of this otherwise very liberal forum...

Well done perfectionist... you are the poster child of the "borrow" generation that has destroyed all hopes of legitimate owners ever getting free use from our legally purchased media. Maybe I am giving you too much credit. Maybe you are some clerk working for a lawfirm working for the Big 3 trying to troll for substantiated evidence against makemkv.com - that being the only reason someone would be so stoneheaded would mention "borrow" or "use" in reference to the subject at hand.

Kudos to you setarip_old! Your patience and tact deserves mentioning... even if it is blue font color.
