BH16NS55 1.02 was one of the original drive firmwares that are UHD friendly out of the box. My first UHD capable drive was a BH16NS55 on it's original v1.02 firmware purchased at the end of 2017! I said "latest LibreDrive list" not because I believed support was recently added, but simply because I forgot to check the list altogether. 
I added "latest" just as a way of wording it.
...Not to mention, I read a lot and am usually pretty good at finding the right information, and I've seen a decent amount of optical drives in my life, but I have less experience than people who have probably "worked" on 100+ drives. I also probably wouldn't be able to fully memorize that LibreDrive list.
