Looking for new flashed UHD ripping drive in USA

Post by CCaptain00 »

I would like to avoid having to pay any tariffs.

I'm looking for a new flashed 5.25 UHD ripping drive, internal or external, in the USA.

I just had an LG die on me.

Pioneer or Asus preferred.

Looking to see what's out there for sale.

Hi,

I am a USA seller of Pioneer 4K UHD drives. I don't have any 5.25" drives in stock at the moment but have a variety of slim drives. All drives are Factory NEW (unless otherwise specified) and were opened once solely for flashing and testing just prior to listing.

Here's a link to my post in case you are interested:

Hello!

ASUS does not make drives. They sell ASUS branded drives with Pioneer or LG mechanisms inside. Pioneer stopped making consumer optical drives (computer use) January, 2025 & sold the business. Reports have it that LG stopped manufacturing consumer optical drives in November, 2025. Unless you can find very old stock with Pioneer, the only thing you can buy has LG inside.

I have several models on-hand, in the US, available for purchase. Links are in my signature. We can discuss here, or you're welcome to contact me directly at the e-mail address in my signature.

Thanks,
Frank
