Hi there, I'm new to this forum and relatively new to ripping blu ray. I've been successfully ripping my blu ray collection for some weeks now using MakeMKV, but I've just started trying to rip my Star Wars blu ray box set and I've encountered my first problem.
I can not get The Phantom Menace to rip at all, I've even created a full backup of the disc which worked fine, but then when I try to open the backup file in MakeMKV it says "The volume key is unknown for this disc - video can't be decrypted"
Any help would be really appreciated

Re: Problems opening backup blu ray
Sorry, should've also said that I'm using the latest version 1.7.4 on OSX 10.7.3 if that's any help
Re: Problems opening backup blu ray
Turn on debugging in the MakeMKV options and post the entire log.

Re: Problems opening backup blu ray
Hi there, sorry for the wait. The same thing is happening with "A New Hope" this is the message I get when trying to open the full backup version.
Any ideas??

Alternatively, ditch your backup and create a new, decrypted backup (i.e. make sure the relevant checkbox is selected when doing a backup).
