Drives are barely used, fully functional and in pristine visual condition.
I have thoroughly tested all drives with CD, DVD, Blu-ray, and 4K UHD Blu-ray discs.

All drives have been crossflashed by me with firmware, which enables ripping 4K UHD Blu-ray discs.

I can send photos of the individual drives upon request.

Among other available drives, I'm offering the Pioneer BDW‑PR1EPDV and BDE‑PR1EP units originally made for Epson Discproducer systems. These hardened, professional-grade drives feature reinforced construction and, depending on revision, silver EMI shielding. The BDW-PR1EPDV was sold as a CD/DVD‑only model with Blu‑ray disabled, but its hardware is closely related to the BDR‑209 series. All units have been crossflashed to BDR‑211UBK 1.53, enabling BD‑R, BD‑RE, BD‑XL and 4K UHD. Since Blu‑ray functions weren't used in Epson duplicators, the BD laser is practically like new. Both drives use Pioneer's PR1 mechanics with high‑precision sleds and durable spindle motors. BDW‑PR1EPDV is based on the SAT8800 revision, while BDE‑PR1EP uses the newer SAT8801.

I ship from Poland within one business day via DHL within the EU (shipping cost: €15) and accept PayPal payments, as well as bank transfers.
Regarding questions about shipping to the USA, I can offer FedEx shipping for €35 ($40).
You can return the drive within 14 days if you are not satisfied or if you changed your mind.

Hi, I quickly want to share my experience with this seller.

Communication was nice and easy and delivery was fast (ordered Saturday, got picked up by DHL on Monday, arrived on Wednesday - Germany in my case). Packaging was good.
The drive runs beautifully (and really silent), I'm glad I picked it up!
If you plan to pay with PayPal, check the conversion rates, they seem to not use the current rate for exchange, so you might end up sending less money than you originally intended to. This is however, not the sellers fault!
I would gladly buy a drive again in the future!

Hi Billy, let me reply to you here. I don't know how much you normally charge for a crossflash of the XD08, but you asked me for $200 per unit. On another forum you wrote that the price was so high because I sell drives and would surely want to use your flasher many times without paying you for it. I'll leave that without comment. I'm not that kind of person.

If you had simply stated your honest price, I might have gone for it and consider crossflash. But I'll hold off. Not everyone is the way you assume they are. Peace.

I'm just a bit surprised that you had to pay as much as $250 before receiving the package.
I think there's a bit of a lottery with these fees.
The USA has recently eliminated the de minimis exemption, and although every package should now be assessed for import charges, in practice some shipments still slip through without any fees.
Low‑value shipments (under $800) that previously entered the country duty‑ and tax‑free are now subject to customs duties, federal excise taxes, and state or local sales and use taxes, regardless of their value.

I also bought a Pioneer 5,25" internal drive from skyrider. He was pleasant to communicate with and answered very quickily and answered all my questions that I had. He also send photos of the state of the drive and even send confirmation and he send the drive before he got the money but luckily the transfer was quick and he got the money within a day. I can highly recommend skyrider to people that live in Europe and want a 5,25" internal drive. The Pioneer that I got is blazing fast and I am very happy bluray rips now only take around 10min. and the read rate is 45+ MB/s

Highly recommend this seller if you're looking for a high quality 4K drive. Friendly, great communication, and the drive is in great condition. Arrived in its original packaging and was crossflashed and ready to go. Since receiving the drive in a timely manner, I've ripped about ~80 discs (4K BluRays, BluRays, DVDs) with 0 issues/malfunctions. Can't recommend enough.
