BU40N Firmware Version 0.BW41P After Flashing?

Hello y'all

I flashed this new unfortunate BU40N following the instructions as best I could. I attempted both with the SDFtool Flasher and the MakeMKV command line interface. Both times it said the flash was successful. Unplugged and waited 30 seconds before plugging it back in. Yet.. it still shows this weird Firmware Version? Rather than the 1.03. Also -- MakeMKV is still stating it is unpatched.. but LibreDrive is enabled? Currently the drive rips Blu-Rays at a miserable 0.8x speed... and cant seem to read 4k UHD discs whatsoever. Throwing up "No Disc" after a few minutes of trying.

Any ideas? Let me know if there's any more questions. I'm willing to try just about anything.

you were likely flashing with enc but this drive is 10 years old so no encrypted fw

That was indeed the case! Thanks Billy it's finally ripping my blu-rays at a respectable speed now

Still not reading 4ks, but I'm certain its a power supply issue so I'll get it a powered usb hub and potentially a new enclosure next. Just so happy to rip some shows!
