I just purchased an LG WH16NS40 off of eBay to work on ripping my family's Blu-Ray library. I purchased it because the SATA data connector was broken, which I was able to repair. Unfortunately, after the repair, I found out that this drive was built on the MT1939 platform, not the MT1959, barring my access to UHD discs. If anyone has a dead MT1959 LG drive and would be willing to ship the motherboard to College Station in Texas, I would be more than happy to pay the shipping + whatever service charge.
