Hello, is it possible to set a maximum length for titles?

I have TV series DVDs, all episodes of which are also saved as a single MKV file, and I would like to disable this based on the title length.

Not within MakeMKV. It's been one of the suggestions for improvement going back a dozen years or so, but the author hasn't expressed any opinion one way or another.

There have been some Blurays where they put entire series (50+ half-hour episodes) in one long file, and you have to use separate programs (like Handbrake or MKVtoolnix) to split them up into individual episodes.
