I too am stuck with a BDR-XD08B on 1.02 firmware. Didn't do my research before buying :(

I just picked up one off of ebay and seems to be the original firmware version too. Is there an option for libre on this?

I only have one UHD disc so far. However, I'd like to be able to rip that and future discs. Here's the drive info - how do I rip on MacOS?

This drive is not UHD compatible and cannot currently be flashed. The firmware is post 11/2022 so you must wait for future support.

I just bought one of these as well, after having trouble with both my LG drives, and am hoping someone may help me in cross-flashing this to support UHD Discs.
