External drives:
- Verbatim 43888 with Pioneer UD04 (350€). New and unused. (Most of them with manufactured date of early-mid 2024) Only 2 units in stock
- ASUS BW-12D1S-U with Pioneer BDR-209 (350€). Barely used. Includes the power supply and all cables. Only 2 units in stock
- Pioneer BDR-X12EBK (750€). Barely used, like new, and in excellent condition. Comes with original packaging and all original accessories (power supply and cables) Only one unit in stock

Internal drives:
- Pioneer BDR-209DBK (300€). OEM, barely used, sourced from local office PCs. Only 1 unit in stock

Each drive has been opened and checked and been cross-flashed enabling support for 4K UHD discs (except for the Pioneer UD04 since it already supports UHD Discs out-ouf-the-box). I can share photos and videos of each drive upon request.

Shipping and payment
I accept payment via PayPal and I ship within one business day through DHL within the European Union, the US, Canada, and Switzerland. Other countries are available upon request, depending on the tariffs situation.

Shipping costs:
- within Germany 6.19 €, expected delivery time: 1-3 days.
- within EU 14.49 €, expected delivery time: 2-5 days.
- to US/Canada 26.49€, expected delivery time: 7-14 days.

Returns are accepted within 14 days if you are not satisfied with the drive. You will receive the shipment tracking ID immediately after payment. In the worst-case scenario, it will be provided a few hours later if the payment occurs outside European office hours.

Shipping to the US and Canada:
Please note that when shipping to the US/Canada, only packages containing personal gifts valued below 100 USD (US) / 150 CAD (Canada) are free of duty and tax. For this purpose, I'll ship the package as personal gift, put German sweets into the package and declare its content as "used Blu-ray drive and German sweets" valued below the above thresholds to make it feel more like a personal gift, even if the drive is new and unused. You can find more information about this here for the US and here for Canada. However, there's still a risk that you, as the recipient, may have to pay the duty if the government estimates the package content to be of higher value.

Please only order if you're okay with this. Fortunately, there haven't been any duties or taxes applied to any of my packages shipped to the US or Canada so far.

Please let me make some comments here. I've been in contact with heisenberg and his offers here are solid and no scam in any way. If you are interested in a Verbatim drive with a Pioneer inside this is a chance you might not have again anytime in the future. Unfortunately the forum has again been very slow recently which keeps a lot of people away (including myself).

Update: By popular demand, I’m now also offering internal drives like the Pioneer BDR-209 and one external BDR-212. Plus, I’ve somehow managed to get a few new Verbatim 43888 (with Pioneer UD04) items back in stock just before being sold out.

After sending out some drives to the US, I'm excited to say that all shipments have gone through without any duties or taxes so far, and they’ve all been delivered in 8-12 days.

- ASUS BW-16D1H-U Pro external USB drive with Pioneer BDR-212 (400€). Includes the stand, the power supply and all the cables. Already crossflashed to support 4K UHD Discs.

Internal drives

Like-new, barely used internal drives, sourced from local office PCs:

- Pioneer BDR-209 (250€). Already crossflashed to support 4K UHD Discs. Production date varies between 2015 and 2018.

What is the difference between the Verbatim 43888, 43889 and 43890?

The 43888 and 43889 share exactly the same case and connectors, specifically a single USB-C USB 3.2 Gen 1 connector. To use these drives, ensure that your host device provides sufficient current through the USB port. My tests indicate that these drives require approximately 1,25 A of current.

The 43890 shares the same case as the other two but includes an additional power connector and power supply. It also comes with a Y-USB3.0-Micro-B to 2x USB3.0 cable. If your device's USB can deliver adequate current (approximately 1,25 A), you can connect just one of the USB connectors without needing the power supply. If you are uncertain, it is advisable to use the included power supply.
