Hallo im new her i already have a Asus BW-16D1HT
Now i have the Chance to get a verbatim Pioneer BDR-UD03
Or a verbatim lg bu40n
Can someone give me some advice which one I should take

Thank you in advance
I have an Asus BW-16D1HT (an old drive in a 10-year-old PC, both the drive and the computer are very worn out) and an LG BU40N and Verbatim 44888 with a Pioneer BDR-UD04. In my experience, the Pioneer is slower but more accurate. The LG, on the other hand, is definitely faster. I also rip CD-Audio discs with both drives, and the LG handles this task with ease. What's more, the LG returns potential C2 errors, while the Pioneer does not, which in the case of CD-AUDIO is better in the LG's performance.

Most likely. You need to install Windows anyway. So then the Libredrive information should appear. PM sent.

Why isn't this posted publicly? I sent the e-mail to get the correct file, but if all of the other files are public why aren't the pioneer files public?

Because the author asked to make it not public. PM me if you can.

@Coopervid - wondering if specifically the BDR-UD03FAL with a mfg. date of Jan 2017 can be flashed to read 4K UHD, and if you could kindly provide those details via PM. Thank you!

Yes, it should be flashable

You need to have the drive in hand to provide the drive's MakeMKV drive info & libredrive info sections before anyone will help you with flashing it.
Cheers :D
