Thanks to everyone who followed the template and provided new disc dump files. The following UHD discs have been added to the public keydb (new media keys are indicated with an asterisk):

Code: Select all

*MKB20_v77_SISU_ROAD_TO_REVENGE_3FFA
*MKB20_v82_DANCER_IN_THE_DARK_71C4
*MKB20_v82_Poltergeist_II_-_Die_andere_Seite_57AE
*MKB20_v82_The_Doors_7D88
*MKB20_v82_Ugly_Stepsister_UHD
I believe all other valid submissions have also been processed.

Here's a dump for Zombieland UHD
Hope I've done this right and thank you in advance.
Hey Rays1, AACS 2.1 isn't a priority for the public keydb at this time. MakeMKV also doesn't utilise the public keydb for AACS 2.1 titles, so the benefit of any additions would be limited.

Hey Brian, I know you were trying to contribute but your post wasn't very helpful. Both of your discs were added to the public keydb on February 6. Please try to read the opening post of this thread as it contains links to some helpful instructions and the submission template.

Hey BulldogK9, thanks for the submission but as I told Brian the public keydb has included both of those discs since February 6. Please follow the steps linked in the first post of this thread to configure MakeMKV to utilise the public keydb.

For future reference, the disc ID is the SHA-1 hash of the Unit_Key_RO.inf file from each disc. For your two discs the expected values were 0x3B1972EA7E5F4AD158DBB6FC52729A4BD2A35137 and 0x24F08F816CE30532833EE0D08B1066359EBA8101

Hey CampbellsChunky, your disc variant has been added to the public keydb. Please do not extract the MKB_RO.inf file from your disc dump file and upload it separately - provide the full file from the disc instead.

I guess reading the first post in this thread is no longer in fashion huh?
Even if you choose to skip the first 123 pages, folks are pretty good about following the template now. I find the idea of posting in a thread after reading essentially none of the existing posts to be a bit odd...

Odd and supremely unhelpful. It doesn't get them the help they desire and just wastes time.

Got it! And thanks for the heads up. I looked in to aacs and figured out that i just have to switch the disk out and get a new one. I would of never known about aacs not being supported had you not told me. Reading through 124 pages is rather daunting, but I must admit after submitting my request I realized I didn't follow the format. Problem is a also don't know where all that information comes from to fill the proper request. However i did do the vuk update thing and that worked like a charm on the new predator I just got last night so I should be good to go. Gonna try another copy of zombieland from a different source. Thank you again for helping out. Definitely not trying to waste anyone's time here.

To whom it may concern,

I have a Five Nights at Freddy's 2 Steelbook UHD 4K dump to submit. The HD Blu Ray disk works it seems so the 4K disc is the only one in my set not working. Details below.

Disc type: UHD
Disc ID: Couldn't figure this part out on my end, so sorry. I'll include the Unit Key RO in my Disc dump link folder
Disc dump filename:MKB20_v82_Five_Nights_at_Freddy's_2_C682.tgz
Drive:BD-RE BP60NB10
Drive firmware:1.02
LibreDrive status:Enabled
Did you sync the public keydb within the last 15 minutes?: Yes
Have you verified that all submission links are accessible in incognito/private browsing? Yes
MKB_RO.inf link (Do not just extract the MKB_RO.inf file from the disc dump file - copy it from the disc): https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing
Disc dump link: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/ ... sp=sharing

Note that I am using the same link for both the MKB_RO and the Disc dump and Unit Key RO I've provided to make the process as simple as possible. Thanks in advance!

No worries Rays1, there is no expectation for anyone to read the entire thread before posting. AACS 2.1 hasn't even been discussed much in this thread, as there were only ever a handful of movies which utilised the protection and most have been re-issued with standard AACS 2.0.

Hey Shawn, thanks for the submission but your disc variant was added to the public keydb on February 14. Follow the instructions here to configure MakeMKV to utilise the public keydb and you'll be good to go.

All other submissions have been processed and added to the public keydb.
