ASUS SBW-06D5H-U

Post by BrunoGC13 »

Hello everyone,
I'm quite new to this topic and I wanted to know if it is possible to make my drive UHD friendly?
I found a similar post about this but it is 2 years old and maybe things have changed since then.
Here's a picture of the drive in MakeMKV

Here is some information:
Drive Information
OS device name: /dev/sr0
Manufacturer: ASUS
Product: SBW-06D5H-U
Revision: A102
Serial number:
Firmware date: 2124-08-05 14:55
Bus encryption flags: 1F

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: MT1959

No disc inserted

Thanks for anyone helping me!

You cannot attach images here. Copy & paste the MakeMKV drive info and libredrive info sections.
Cheers :D

I followed the steps and used version 1.17.7 as mentioned. I flashed the drive with the following command:
./bin/amd64/makemkvcon f -d /dev/sr0 rawflash -i /tmp/BU40N_1.03MK.bin

Adn after unplugging and plugging it in again it still says it uses A102

DRV:0,0,999,0,"BD-RE ASUS SBW-06D5H-U A102 MODO52A0203","","/dev/sr0"

NOTE: I used 1.17.7 for flashing and the newest version to check!
