undefined symbol OSSL_BN_nnmod

#1 Post by kerryland » Mon Mar 26, 2012 5:30 am

Hi Folks,

When I try to rip "Contagion" or "In Time" (New Zealand flavours) makemkv fails with:

symbol lookup error: /usr/bin/makemkvcon: undefined symbol: OSSL_BN_nnmod

I am running version 1.7.2.

It reports that it is using a disk-specific SVQ from 00000027.svq.

I have looked high and low, but cannot find a log file anywhere.
There is a dump_In_Time_B9236874349FF010.tgz file, but it is zero bytes large.
Mine is a registered copy of MakeMKV, if that means anything.

Anything I can do to help?

What OS are you using? If my guess is correct and you're on Linux, then it means that you somehow ended up with an outdated libmakemkv.so

Yes I'm on Linux. How do I fix this?

Reinstall the latest version. To be sure, delete all occurrences of libmakemkv.so on your system.
