Internal error - Operation result is incorrect

Hi,
after backup of Firefly Discs 1-3 and trying to reopen the copied (and decrypted) content again (MakeMKV 1.7.2, Linux(x64-release)) I get the following messages:

Disc 1

Error 'Internal error - Operation result is incorrect (196)' occurred while reading '/backup/FIREFLYUS_D1/BDMV/CLIPINF/00001.clpi' at offset '2048'

Disc 3

Code: Select all

Error 'Posix error - Unknown error 1073741823' occurred while reading '/backup/FIREFLYUS_D3/BDMV/CLIPINF/00011.clpi' at offset '2048'

At least on the first disc one track is missing in the left tree then.

When opening the disc directly, the error does NOT appear and the missing track is selectable.
I made a diff on the mentioned file of the first disc and backup and disc was identical.

Yes, of course. Discs are original and in new condition. Only MakeMKV was involved in this process.

Edit: Just made another backup of the disc, resulting in no change. First disc is protected by AACS v9, BD+ v2008.9.

Disc 2 has AACS v8, BD+ v2008.9. No error messages appeared. And as far as I can tell no titles are missing. Did not recognize any other suspicious behaviour, too.

Disc 3 is protected by AACS v9, BD+ v2008.9 again by the way. Maybe there is a problem with AACS v9 in combination with BD+ in some way?

Can you please check that all CLPI and MPLS files are identical on disc and in the backup? Do you see anything in MakeMKV log (in file, not in GUI pane). Do you get the same error each time you open a backup?

I compared all the files *.clpi and *.mpls on the first disc (normal and backup), then the same on my harddrive, and finally compared them between disc and my harddrive. All are identical.
After I created another backup with activated log debug messages (got no errors here) and opened the directory, I got the same error and some more messages (first disc for now):

Opening disc 2 does not print out any error or DEBUG-messages, so I assume here is all well.

Looks like it's both disc mastering error and a bug in MakeMKV . Please compress with any archiver and send all CLPI and MPLS files from problematic discs to support@makemkv.com . Your backup is apparently correct.
