Hello guys,

I'm a complete newbie. I'm looking for a UHD drive that I can use to rip 4k Blurays with MakeMKV.

Priced up to €150.

Why not look in the seller threads? viewforum.php?f=20 or read the Ultimate UHD Drive Flashing Guide 2026 viewtopic.php?p=74718#p74718 where you will find a list of recommended drives?
Cheers :D

I did. Bluntman (canada) says he's out of stock with nothing on the horizon. My Ud03 gave up the ghost a few weeks ago and doesn't recognize discs anymore so no sense flashing it to rip 4k but i've been looking on amazon and other sites in canada for external 4k drives for my laptop but they are almost all out of stock.

Found this Buffalo but that's about it. Anyone know if this one is any good?

Only the Verbatim 43887 (Pioneer) and 43889 (LG) are available.

All Pioneer models have been sold and there are no more as they are all END OF LIFE products. Pioneer (and now also LG) no longer manufacture optical drives.
