LibreDrive firmware for HL-DT-ST BD-RE BU40N
Hello. I am a little confused about which LibreDrive firmware to pick for this drive. Any help? Using the mk-firmware-pack-20200720.
HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-1.04-NM00500-212005061142.bin (BU40N-N-Main)
HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-U100-3M01801-211910161036.bin (BU40N-U-Tier2-Non-UHD)
When I view my device in SDFtool Flasher, it shows HL-DT-ST_BD-RE_BU40N_U101_212012011720_MO6L9191353
Thanks
HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-1.04-NM00500-212005061142.bin (BU40N-N-Main)
HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N-U100-3M01801-211910161036.bin (BU40N-U-Tier2-Non-UHD)
When I view my device in SDFtool Flasher, it shows HL-DT-ST_BD-RE_BU40N_U101_212012011720_MO6L9191353
Thanks

The Ultimate UHD Drives Flashing Guide says BU40N on any Firmware directly to > BU40N 1.03MK

Re: LibreDrive firmware for HL-DT-ST BD-RE BU40N
When I try the BU40N 1.03MK firmware I get an error message.
Command produced error code 0xff05c103
(nevermind, I tried the following morning and the flash worked)

Acutally I am a bit puzzled, too.
I tried to flash my drive, and it looks promising in the first moment:
But after I restarted the pc and open makeMKV it still states this information:
Also - I though it might be some drive caching issue - I just gave it a shot. But without luck:
Thanks in advance for any help.
EDIT
I also tried the sdftool_flasher with the FW Versions 1.00 and 1.03 (as recommended)

Re: LibreDrive firmware for HL-DT-ST BD-RE BU40N
HL-DT-ST-BD-RE_BU40N_1.02_212012011716_MO3L91F0715.bin is listed as an encrypted FW in the guide. Either add enc to the command line, or make sure 'Encrypted FW' (?) is a green check in the GUI tool.

Thank you I was overthinking it and had the enc command in there rather than main, it appears to be working now with the tutorial.
