OS device name: /dev/sr0
Manufacturer: HL-DT-ST
Product: BDDVDRW GBC-H20L
Revision: 1.B0
Serial number: K238A9A4720
Firmware date: 2008-03-28 12:34:56

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, might be supported in future, but not likely soon
Drive platform: RS1013
Firmware version: 1.B0-06

Disc Information
Disc is being loaded

"
left hand says " type:loading, label: please wait, protection " its just stuck. ao my question is can i make it work? if i cant whats an affordable blu ray drive which is already supported? any info would be greatly appreciated.

Some people have issues with the latest version of MakeMKV on Linux. Try older version 1.17.7.

USB is still more than enough compared to what speed an optical drive can read.
