Just wanted to say THANK YOU for this.. I got the John Wick Trilogy pack (US) and this seems to be the map and Source File Name for that version as well.hvnphoto wrote: Fri Jun 16, 2017 12:50 amThe segment map is correct.cmehling wrote:Yes... it is

Re: John Wick Chapter 2
Sorry to revive, but also a Canadian and struggling with this movie because of all the different possible playlists. It did say in MakeMkv: "Using Java runtime from /usr/lib/jvm/java-21-openjdk-amd64/bin/java", but it did not identify the correct playlist unfortunately.
I have none of the segment maps as in this thread. In VLC, it says "playing title182". When I run the following command while it's playing in terminal, I get this:
This has a runtime of 2:04:08, the only one with a runtime this long. The others are 2:02:22.
When I go to MakeMKV, the segment map for this entry is: 514,3848,502,511,501,503,505,510,512,507,515,506,508,504,509,513. Which is fake (according to Gemini), but I do not know any better.
When I run this:
Title 182 corresponds to this segment map: 514,502,503,501,511,504,505,508,515,513,506,507,512 (00488.mpls)
I am unsure how to proceed in identifying the real file, if it is even one of these two.
Using Linux Mint XCFE.

Re: John Wick Chapter 2
you could try mounting the disc and running strace with vlc.
something like this :
strace -z -tt -e trace=open,openat -f vlc |& grep /media/dvd
where /media/dvd is the mountpoint
then use vlc with java menu's to start the movie to see what .mpls it opens
also make sure vlc opens the /media/dvd folder not /dev/sr0

Re: John Wick Chapter 2
So the very last .mpls that shows up is 00487.mpls in terminal before the first segment (00514.m2ts). When I go chapter by chapter, I unfortunately don't get all the segments. Here's what I get when I go chapter by chapter through all 16: 514 (chapter 0), 511 (chapter 1), 512, 507, 515, 513. the rest were way further down in the movie. There's no file in MakeMKV with 514,511 as the first two.
Segment map for 00487.mpls is this one (what I showed above) - 514,3848,502,511,501,503,505,510,512,507,515,506,508,504,509,513
For reference, for the other two people who have a Canadian version like me, my segment map at 00796.mpls is slightly different (the 508 and 513 are swapped): 514,501,503,502,511,504,515,505,508,513,507,506,512
UPC is 774212114489. I am not sure what to do at this point.
