After reading all the posts here, I'm pretty sure that I can also read UHD/4K discs with this drive (currently not possible).
Can anyone give me a tip/hint on what exactly I need to do/which tool I need to use for flashing?

It's exactly the same drive as mentioned above, the firmware is from 2018, so well before December 2022.
The operating system is Windows.

Thank you for your help, which I greatly appreciate.

Good evening,

could I get a bit of help with flashing my new SBW-06D5H-U, please?
I it's based on MT1959 (SDF tool confirms MT1959 platform and unencrypted firmware, both have green checkmark), same as my older 5.25in drive that I successfully flashed, but I have no experience with flashing slim drives and also this drive is not mentioned anywhere on the LibreDrive flashing list.

I'll be glad for any help,
Thank you

You mean encrypted firmware. Green tick means encrypted.

You can flash it to BU40N 1.03-MK.
