I also purchased a ASUS BW-16D1X-U. Have you successfully got it working with the MakeMKV? I would also like to flash the drive. Does anyone have any information on a link to where I can download the install the flash? Thank you in advanced.

depends if its a pioneer or lg inside the asus case

Thank you for the prompt response. I'm not sure how I can tell as this is an external drive and it is enclosed . Looks like it was manufactured September of 2025. So, I can't tell. But the info screen on MakerMKV says:
