Feel free to upload the disc dump file to any file host and post a link here.
Public KeyDB Disc Submissions
- LG/Buffalo/Asus drives only (Pioneer drives are not supported)
- Please use file hosts, not forum attachments
- If your disc dump is under 3MB, you need to manually include the MKB_RO.inf file from the AACS folder

Thanks for providing that disc dump file. Your particular disc variant was added to the public keydb on December 14, so grab the very latest keydb and you should be good to go.
If you haven't previously configured MakeMKV to utilise the public keydb you can follow my instructions here or use SamuriHL's utility for Windows (Link)

I couldn't get the key file to download automatically, so it's easier for me to just disable internet access and grab it manually from now on. No faffing about with VPNs and waiting for MakeMKV to time out.
Plus I see I can recycle it to use with VLC
Out of curiosity, what's the SDF file for?
I'd been getting that manually in the past and see it merge into the _private_data.tar file.
Until you posted the link above, I though those were the key/decryption files, not the keydb file

Re: Dump Submitted - Hellraiser 2022: Turbine (Germany) 4K UHD TGZ File
MakeMKV will only try to download its native hashed keys automatically, but it does not try to download the public keydb. These are two distinct sources of keys and title support will vary between the two. So if a title is not natively supported by MakeMKV you'll always need to supply the latest keydb file.
The SDF file does not contain disc keys. It contains the microcode for each drive/firmware combination. Microcode refers to the small code blobs which get uploaded to the drives non-volatile memory and executed by the drives CPU. The microcode facilitates reading disc metadata and disabling bus encryption.
