There seems to be very low availability of drives that can rip UHD where I live.
These too can be ordered and according to the Forum people have been able to update their firmwares.
Which one should I go for? Is either of them bought today more likely to be able to be flashed?
I was reading that the Asus needs a firmware before 2022 so buying one today it could be unlikely.
Thank you for your support!

If you are lucky either one could have a Pioneer drive inside which can be cross-flashed! Probably a slightly better chance of that with the 43890.TheRipped wrote: ↑Sun Dec 14, 2025 12:40 pmThere seems to be very low availability of drives that can rip UHD where I live.
