Combine several mkv files into one

Hi,

I ripped a DVD with MakeMKV, now i Havel about 8 mkv files, when I use XBMC it run's only the first file...


How can i make one file out of 8 seperate files..?

They are most likely completely different files(like trailers and ads), but you can use mkvtoolnix to merge the files together.

They are movie files only, no trailers or ads., I think MakeMKV removed those..

I'am using a Mac, cannot use mkvtoolnix

Have you tired watching the files with VLC to see what all they are? MakeMKV doesn't rip anything below the threshold that is set at 120 seconds(IIRC), or what the user sets. Anything longer and MakeMKV will rip it.

Yes you can. Google "mkvtoolnix", go to the download page, and find the "Mac OS X" subsection.

As for XBMC only opening one MKV file - maybe you should ask on the XBMC forum?
