Hey AudioMaverick, I'm glad to hear you've found the keydb to be helpful. I'd definitely recommend picking up an LG/Asus/Buffalo MT1959 drive to complement your Pioneer so that you can provide usable disc dump files if required.

It is also a good idea to continue to submit disc dump files to the MakeMKV team for native support purposes.

All three of your discs were added to the public keydb on November 19. Don't waste my time by copying the template mindlessly because there is no way you synced the public keydb in the 15 minutes before posting to this thread. Even if you had synced the keydb in the previous 15 days there was a very good chance you would've been able to process your discs.

The template contains questions which should be answered honestly, not just replicated from my example in the opening post. If this is too hard to manage, just stick to MakeMKV's native title support and wait several days or weeks before your discs are supported

I recently got the UHD 4K Shrek 4-Movie Collection. 3 of the 4 titles ripped fine, Shrek 2 did not. I downloaded the public key db and it still failed to decrypt. I searched through the file but didn't see a match.

Glad to hear you've got it working. Your disc variant was added to the public keydb in early December 2023, so I thought there may have been a misconfiguration.

Just to be clear, the keydb.cfg file is not going to be present unless you copy it into that folder. MakeMKV manages its private key database separately and it will not automatically download the public keydb.
