Failed to save title 0 to file
Failed to save title 0 to file
Just downloaded and installed MakeMKV BETA and I am getting the following problem:
The application reads the unenencrypted Blu-Ray disc ok (XMen 3) but when I press the Make MKV button I get the following message:
MakeMKV v1.4.6 beta win(x86-release) started
Using direct disc access mode
AACS directory not present, assuming unencrypted disc
File 00000.mpls was added as title #0
Operation sucessfully completed
Saving 1 titles into directory K:/Video/XMEN3_F1
Failed to save title 0 to file K:/Video/XMEN3_F1/title00.mkv
0 titles saved, 1 failed
Please help.
Thanks

Re: Failed to save title 0 to file
This error is most likely due to an incorrectly mastered blu-ray disc. In order to confirm, please open preferences dialog, enable "log debug messages", restart the program, try to open these files again and post the produced log here.

Re: Failed to save title 0 to file
I can confirm this error (Bug?). As long as the Bluray files on harddisk use an VC-1 video stream, everything ist fine.
As soon as the video in the m2ts file is encoded in AVC the error message appears and the mkv creation aborts.

Re: Failed to save title 0 to file
This is correct. Blu-ray discs must contain AccessUnit NAL units in AVC video stream. Re-encoded "pirate blu-rays" often lack this information and MakeMKV fails on them.
Re: Failed to save title 0 to file
I had this error a couple of times. Each time I rebooted my pc and wiped off the disc and tried again. Each time it worked fine after that.
Re: Failed to save title 0 to file
I get the failed to save title 0 to file everytime with Bluray disc First Blood;

Re: Failed to save title 0 to file
it looks like something is wrong with an mpeg-4 video stream. to diagnose we would need to look at actual video frames that cause the problem but it looks like 49 lines with this information were removed from a log file.
Re: Failed to save title 0 to file
attached is the entire log file
I have even tried ripping the bluray to the hard drive and then running makemkv from the hard drive but I get the same error.
It errors at the exact same part (as soon as the mkv file gets to 230mb it errors and stops).
I have tried 2 different First Blood bluray discs.
Other discs work fine.
Thanks for any assistance.
