Apologies for the vague description. But I'm probably just dumb and not being able to put the pieces together but want to make sure I follow the path correctly for flashing or re-flashing. Long story short, I wanted to properly flash my drive for the LibreDrive. I mistakenly flashed the drive using LG Slim BU40N instead of LG 5.25 desktop flash. I lost the ability to open the drive and the drive wouldn't read. I followed a rabbit hole and advice from the forums and "re-flashed" in the proper order and not the physical eject button and software eject button working
again. However, my drive no longer reads any discs whether they be DVD, Blu-Ray or 4K. I have a Buffalo brxl-16u3.
My question is I already have the "The all you need firmware pack" but I've also seen the mk-firmware-pack-20200720. I just wanted to make sure I didn't any files from there as well. I am trying to figure out why my drive no longer reads disc as prior to the flashing mistake it read like a charm. My next step is to open it up and clean the lens to see if that helps or not. Any advice as always is helpful and welcome. Thank you. The following info below: (no disc inserted)

All you need and Mk-firmware files?
Re: All you need and Mk-firmware files?
Somebody may correct me, but if you have an Buffalo BRXL-16U3 without a Pioneer drive but a LG, it has the older and not compatible MT1939 platform.
Buffalo used LG BH10 oder BH12 drives in earlyer 16U3 a far as I know.

Re: All you need and Mk-firmware files?
There is also a big warning that says, "Don't crossflash desktop drives to slim drives or the other way around."
Maybe one of the guys can help?

Re: All you need and Mk-firmware files?
Yeah that was one of my fatal flaws I made I'm afraid. I followed the embedded video, ran into the issue then scrolled down to see the warnings. Not the sites fault but mine. I assumed what was below was what most posts have and just tons of replies. But of course, my smooth forgot when I went to download the flasher, that right above was the warning. This is all an attempt to see if any of the admins have had someone run into this issue and have a possible fix. As I unfortunately now have a fancy paper weight at the moment with blue lights.
