So I've been using MakeMKV with my sizable DVD collection and it's been, by and large, very, very smooth. There have been a few discs, though, that take a long time getting through just the first process, which ends with all of the discs files laid out, and when it's done, the main movie file just doesn't show up.
There have been a few times where the disc just doesn't work anymore on my Blu-ray player, and I chalk it up to the disc just failing as a whole (some of these are over 25 years old after all). However, there are a few discs that do work fine in the player, but when I run them through MakeMKV, there is usually just one or two of the secondary special features files, and not the primary movie file.
Some of these discs I've encountered like this are the 2001 Special Edition of Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Mean Streets, Lucky You, Lord of War and The Illusionist.
Has anyone else run into this issue? And if so, is there a fix/workaround?
