I purchased this drive a week ago and MakeMKV is showing me the following information:

Manufacturer: ASUS

Revision: E113
Serial number:
Firmware date: 2020-07-21
Bus encryption flags: 1B
Highest AACS version: 82

LibreDrive Information
Status: Possible, not yet enabled
Drive platform: Pioneer RS8F00
Firmware version: ID76

No disc inserted

I would like to flash this drive for UHD.

Below are my information regarding my AsUs BW-16D1H-u. Right now, I cant read the UHD disc. Is there a possibility to read them ?

Thank you for the PM. When I start BDRFlash it says “No available devices found.” MakeMKV still sees it. There is no disc inside and it is closed. This is on Windows 11.

Without a disc, MakeMKV reports this:

Hi all

Thanks in advance for your help. Very new to all of this. I have been reading through the forums and there are many variations of similar drives and wanted to get a sense of whether this one if UHD capable.
