I have the dual-disc issue of The Greatest Showman (both DVD and Blu-ray discs), but only the DVD can be backed up into an image that works as usual.
Drive is a brand new LG BP50NB40. It reports no errors in making the backup. Open the backup folder in VLC Media Player as a Blu-ray disc however, and it simply stops after playing the 20th Century Fox logo.
That aside, the actual movie file (\THE_GREATEST_SHOWMAN\BDMV\STREAM\00662.m2ts) does seem to play with no problems.
What is up with this particular title?
I'm ok with just the movie working, but the user on behalf of whom I'm making these backups would prefer to have the whole menu, extras, etc. experience.
