"region setting of the drive does not match the region of the currently inserted disc, trying workaround."

I searched the error and couldn't find much help online other then the arm version of makemkv or something supposedly had this fixed, its weird I got this error i think because I was halfway through the rip when it appeared and canceled my backup. I also am using an ntsc disc and have successfully backed up and made mkv of another ntsc disc. I was backing up shark boy and lava girl 3D and my ps3 was able to play the movie fine for the few minutes and chapters i played. Please see attached image for more information and tell me if I can provide more. Sorry if I did anything wrong, this is my first post.

i tried a 3rd time and it baited me, got to 5 seconds left and then said "Error 'Scsi error - MEDIUM ERROR:L-EC UNCORRECTABLE ERROR' occurred while reading 'DVD+R-DL TSSTcorp CDDVDW SH-224GB SB00 S1C26YDH200SNJ' at offset '3977388032'"

That error usually indicates that the drive was unable to read a spot on the disc correctly. Often it helps to gently clean the disc and try again.
