Failure - "Awesome 80s Music Video Collection Vol.2"
The above disc fails right at the end. I've attached the necessary *.IFO and debug log files. When using PavTube ByteCopy it rips without problems. I've also checked the disc for marks or scratches and cleaned it - it is spotless. I've tried to copy it with MakeMKV 3 times and each time it fails.

A badly mastered disc, workaround should be added in the next version.

Thanks, that is good to hear. Any indication of when the next update will be released?

I downloaded and tried the latest version of MakeMKV (1.7.0) on this problematic DVD, but it still fails right at the end. I've attached the necessary debug files.

Please try this workaround - download attached file and place it into "MakeMKV data directory". Please post the result here. This workaround should work with any version after 1.6.16 .

I copied the file into my MakeMKV 1.7.0 data directory and ripped the DVD again. This time it worked, but with some warnings.
I also notice there is a v1.7.1 available. I'll try the problematic DVD with that version too and see if it works (I'll remove the file from the MakeMKV data directory first)
Here is the output from the log window:
