My first disc didn't decrypt but the other 2 did. I emailed this one:

Same thing for me. First disc only was the issue.

This may be a silly question, but how can one find out if the data has been updated in MakeMKV to allow for ripping?

You will usually see a line in the log window saying downloading latest hk or something like that but the only way to know the for sure is to attempt to rip the disc again.
