Drive help - Keeps spitting out disc with no error message

Hi.

Everytime I try to put a disc into my drive, the disc just spins a bunch and then the drive just spits it out. I've tried several blu-rays and DVDs and the result is the same. I've also tried on both Windows and MacOS with the same result.

Does anyone know if this a typical issue, and how to fix it?

The enclosure of these drives is very power hungry. Try a USB-C port on the mainboard or a powered USB hub.

Also - clean the laser lens with a cotton swab and alcohol.

Just downloaded 1.8.2 version and now the drive just spins the disc and then ejects it out. Prior to downloading the new version everything was workin g fine. What changed in the new version?
