I recently tried to rip my criterion collection copy of "Blue Velvet" and I keep getting the same error:
"The source file '/BDMV/STREAM/00306.m2ts' is corrupt or invalid at offset 4964407296, attempting to work around"
I have ensured the disc is clean, I tested to make sure it plays in a separate Blu-ray player, and I made sure I'm using the latest version of MakeMKV. Does anyone have any other ideas?

Re: Source File is corrupt or invalid
Did you ever figure out the exact cause of this issue and a solution? I am having the same error. I know that my DVD itself is fine though because I play it just fine using VLC.
Re: Source File is corrupt or invalid
You realise that VLC will skip over small bad spots, while MakeMKV wants solid copy, right?
