Software not working

Buenas, estoy intentando instalar el software en linux pero no me para de salir el aviso ed que el programa es demasiado viejo y no puedo usarlo, he visto una clave de activación pero solo funcionaba a septiembre de este año y no está usable, ¿alguien puede ayudarme?

There are quite a number of reports that the 1.18.x versions of MakeMKV have problems with many (most?) linux installs that are kept "up to date", due to library incompatibilities. The 1.17.x versions work better, and use the same beta key, stored here. Have you tried that?
